01 to Beijing (D)
Arrive in Beijing Capital International Airport. Met at airport
by local tour guide and transferred to your hotel.
Afternoon tour to Temple of Heaven, an exquisite example of Ming
architecture served as an exclusive altar for Chinese emperors
during the Ming and Qing dynasties
Dinner in local restaurant.
After dinner, transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.
Day 02 Beijing (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Tiananmen Square, the biggest square in the world,
and Forbidden City, the complex of Imperial Palaces which were
home to the Emperors for over 500 years.
Lunch in local restaurant.
Afternoon tour to Summer Palace, where the Emperors went to escape
the heat of the city in Summer.
Peking Roast Duck dinner at Wenhaiyuan Restaurant.
After dinner, transfer to Heaven and Earth Theatre for Acrobatic
Show (19:15-20:30).
Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Beijing.
Day 03 Beijing (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Great Wall at Badaling, the best preserved part
of the Great Wall which is a magnificent construction project
in ancient china and one of the great wonders in the history of
human civilization (around 65km away from the city centre and
about 1.5 hoursĄŻ driving).
Lunch at Jindian Friendship restaurant.
Afternoon tour to Changling of the Ming Tombs, the biggest wood-made
and best preserved palace of the 13 Ming Tombs
Transfer back to the city for dinner in local restaurant.
Overnight in Beijing.
Day 04 Beijing/XiĄŻan (B L)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Hutong, a labyrinth of old narrow streets lined
with ancient courtyard houses giving us a glimpse into the traditional
and colourful life of Beijing residents.
Lunch in local familyĄŻs house.
Afternoon tour to Lama Temple. the largest Tibetan style Buddhism
temple
Airport transfer for your flight HU7237 (18:00-19:40) for XiĄŻan.
Dinner on board.
Arrive in XiĄŻan Xianyang Airport. Met at airport by local tour
guide and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in XiĄŻan.
Day 05 XiĄŻan (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Terracotta Army Museum, a vast Terracotta Army
- 7000 life sized figures individually crafted and complete with
chariots and horses (around 38km away from the city)
Lunch in local restaurant.
Back to the city, we will visit the City Wall, the most complete
city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the
largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Dinner in local restaurant.
After dinner, transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in XiĄŻan.
Day 06 XiĄŻan (B L)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Big Goose Pagoda, which was built to store sutras
and statues brought from India by Xuan Zang in Tang Dynasty, and
Shaanxi Provincial History Museum which houses a large collection
of 113,000 historic and cultural artefacts unearthed in Shaanxi
Lunch in local restaurant.
Afternoon tour to Forest of Stone Steles Museum which holds 3,000
stone steles of different periods from the Han Dynasty to the
Qing Dynasty
Dinner on own.
Overnight in XiĄŻan.
Day 07 XiĄŻan/Jiayuguan (B L)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Hanyangling Museum, the mausoleum of West Han
Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport.
Lunch.
Afternoon airport transfer for your flight HU7535 (14:20-17:30)
for Jiayuguan.
Dinner on board.
Arrive in Jiayuguan. Met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Jiayuguan.
Day 08 Jiayuguan (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Jiayuguan Pass, the first pass at the west end
of the Great Wall of China and was built during the Ming Dynasty.
Lunch.
Afternoon tour to Wei-jin Art Gallery, 15km northeast of Jiayuguan
Pass, renowned as the largest subterranean art gallery and The
First Fire Tower of the Great wall, which marks the western beginning
of the Ming Great Wall.
Dinner.
Overnight in Jiayuguan.
Day 09 Jiayuguan/Dunhuang (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning transfer to Dunhuang, about 385km/4hours away from Jiayuguan.
You will experience a short Camel-riding along the Echoing-Sand
Dune to reach the Crescent Lake.
Lunch and dinner.
Overnight in Dunhuang.
Day 10 Dunhuang/Turpan (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Mogao Grottoes, a shrine of Buddhist art treasures.
Lunch.
Afternoon tour to Dunhuang Museum, which reflects the flourishing
social development and cultural exchange between China and the
West during the time when Dunhuang was a major centre along the
silk road.
Dinner.
Railway station transfer for your overnight soft sleeper train
T216 (20:16-8:22+1) for Turpan.
Overnight on train.
Day 11 Turpan (B L D)
Arrive in Turpan railway station at 8:22. Met and transferred
to your hotel for breakfast. (Turpan railway station ¨C Turpan
city: 60km/1hour)
Morning tour to Jiaohe (Yarkhoto) Ruins, the largest, oldest and
best-preserved earthern city in the world.
Lunch.
Afternoon tour to the karez Well, the life source of Turpan and
Sugong Pagoda, the largest extant old tower in Xinjiang and the
only Islamic tower among the hundred famous towers in China.
Dinner.
Overnight in Turpan.
Day 12 Turpan/Urumqi/Kashgar (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to Bizalkik Thousand Buddha Caves, the most valuable
Buddhist caves found in Turpan, Gaochang Ruins (60km/1hour from
Turpan), which used to be a garrison town and later became a key
point along the ancient Silk Road, and Flaming Mountain.
Lunch.
Transfer to Urumqi, around 200km/3hours away from Turpan.
Take the flight CZ6807 (20:55-22:40) for Kashgar after dinner.
Arrive in Kashgar. Met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Kashgar.
Day 13 Kashgar/Urumqi (B L D)
Breakfast in hotel.
Morning tour to the famous Sunday Market, open everyday, but the
best on Sunday and Id Kah Mosque, a group of old Islamic constructions
with strong ethnic style and religious features.

Afternoon tour to the Old Street and Abakh Khoja Tomb, a masterpiece
of Uigur architecture.
Dinner.

Morning tour to Jade Buddha Temple, a venerable and famous Buddhist
temple, and Yu Garden, a representative of the classical architectural
style acknowledged as an architectural miracle in the region southeast
of the Yangtze River.
Lunch in local restaurant.
Afternoon free shopping on the famous Nanjing Road.
Dinner on own.
Overnight in Shanghai.
